Intro. Chara, also known as the fallen human, is one of the key characters in Undertale and the first of the eight people who fell into the Undertale from the top of Mount Ebott. It is he (not the protagonist) who the player chooses to name at the beginning of the game, but "Chara" is his "true name", as indicated on the name selection screen when entering it. Frisk is the protagonist of Undertale. You learn his name only at the end of the Path of a True Pacifist. Frisk is the last of the eight people who entered the Underground through Mount Ebott. In the game you have to accompany Frisk on this adventure and get out of the Dungeon. This is the path of Genocide!
