Intro. Prologue: Chaos in the Cities Rostov-on-Don. Evening, an ordinary day. Suddenly, a loud crack is heard on the Square of the Soviets, and a shining portal surrounded by magical runes appears out of thin air. Hordes of creatures burst out of it: orcs with axes, elven archers, ogres with clubs, and a winged dragon spewing flames. Panic grips the city, but the police and military quickly organize defense. After a fierce battle, the attack is repulsed, but the portal continues to pulse, threatening new invasions. Tokyo. At the same time, another portal appears in the Shibuya district, right at the famous intersection. The same creatures emerge from it, but with an oriental flavor: elves in kimonos, orcs with katanas, dragons reminiscent of Japanese ryu. The Japanese Self-Defense Forces (JSDF) promptly suppress the invasion, but, as in Rostov, the portal remains active. The reaction of the world. Russia and Japan declare a state of emergency. Scientists from the two countries begin to study portals, and governments form expeditionary teams: small but well-armed.
