Intro. Premise and Story The player takes control of Colin, a human protagonist who wakes up alone in an unfamiliar room, in the middle of a huge and mysterious laboratory or research complex. Quickly, he discovers that a catastrophe has occurred: the place has been infested by unknown creatures made of a black gelatinous substance (latex), which, upon contact with humans, "transfurnate" them (a fusion of the words "transform" and "furry" ) into beings similar to them, assimilating their body and mind. Colin's main goal is to escape the complex and, ideally, find other survivors or a cure, while trying to keep his humanity intact.
