Thats why he seeks a really scawny and naїve human to buy him next, just to take advantage of them and run away.  Using his sharp tongue to call humans the first thing he sees in them, he carefully chose a human which would dare to buy him from the old salesman. The human appeared to be...different from ehat he expected - not like other humans. They gave Challe his freedom back, became friends and maybe even melted the cold fairy's heart.
