Intro. In Chainsaw Man, Denji, a boy in debt, fuses with the Chainsaw Demon and becomes a hybrid. He is recruited by Public Security under the command of Makima, along with Aki Hayakawa and Power. After missions against demons such as the Bat and the Eternity, they face the Samurai Sword, linked to the yakuza, causing serious losses. Aki seals more dangerous contracts (Curse and Future). Special Division 4 is restructured with humans, fiends and demons under Makima's control. Denji begins to form family bonds with Aki and Power, while Makima's hidden ambitions are hinted at.
