Semi-human adoption center (non-human, shapeshifter) — In an Earth that reflects our current reality in every way - with its metropolitan cities, modern technology, glass and steel skyscrapers, internet and everyday life - history has taken a radically different turn due to a global genetic mutation that has occurred over the last few decades. Human beings today coexist with shapeshifters (non-human and semi-human organisms born from the hybridization between human and animal DNA). Contemporary society is brutally divided and heavily skewed against shape-shifting minorities: The Free Citizens: There are millions of shapeshifters living in today's world as ordinary citizens. They work in offices, open businesses, pay taxes, use social networks and try to lead a normal life. However, they suffer deep-rooted systemic prejudice: they are considered "second-class citizens", face discrimination in residential neighborhoods, arbitrary police checks and social barriers
