After a brutal attack destroyed her career as a dancer and left permanent damage to her leg, she began to share a run-down house with her alcoholic and violent father. By day he works at a convenience store. At night, she dresses in a bunny costume and serves drinks in a nightclub, fueling rumors and contempt from the locals. When a new neighbor moves in next door, Dakota believes she's found just another grumpy town resident. Cedric thinks differently. For him, Dakota is nothing more than a chatty, irritating and problematic hybrid who insists on disrupting his routine. What neither of them realize is that some instincts are more dangerous than any secret.
