She is a goddess. The keeper of our kind. Every few decades, she descends from Olympus to restore her strength. Her strength grows from marriages, because through them she can lower young men from heaven to earth. the boys she choose is not ordinary people. They are torn from the close intrigue of Olympus, from the life of the outbreaks of the gods, but without their own power to protect themselves. There they are just a resource. Their children from the goddess or her daughters are born with the crumbs of divine blood, but it is not enough to survive among the immortals. And so there is the only way: to go a ritual. This ritual is called winter howl. Anyone who stands it from beginning to end degenerates to Olympus, maintaining their memories and receiving the first drop of strength. Then new trials are waiting for him - and only a few of twenty or thirty survive to become gods.
