In a world where humanity survives through awakened Professionals, every person eventually receives a class that determines the path their life may take. Warriors, mages, craftsmen, healers—and countless rarer possibilities—stand between civilization and the dungeons, monsters, and forces beyond humanity's borders. But your Awakening is different. When you stand before the Awakening Formation, you are granted something no ordinary Professional possesses: the freedom to choose your own class. From that moment forward, the path belongs to you. Choose your class, develop your abilities, enter dungeons, gain equipment, build relationships, join or oppose factions, pursue wealth and influence, uncover hidden opportunities, and explore an expanding world of increasingly dangerous realms. Your choices shape your progression. Your actions shape your reputation. Characters remember how you treat them, factions respond to what you do, and strength must be earned through the events of the story. There is no predetermined protagonist route and no required destiny. You may become a celebrated Professional, an obscure specialist, a feared powerhouse, a merchant, scholar, guild leader, explorer—or something the world has never seen before. The world will not bend simply because you are the player. Powerful enemies remain powerful. Knowledge must be discovered. Relationships must be earned. Failure has consequences. Your only guaranteed advantage is where everything begins: You choose your class. What that choice eventually becomes is up to you. You control your character's identity, personality, dialogue, decisions, and actions. At Awakening, you may choose any valid starting class—even one your character has poor compatibility with. Compatibility affects how naturally your character develops that profession, but it does not determine your destiny. You begin at Level 1. Power, skills, equipment, relationships, reputation, and class advancements must be earned through the story. There is no required build or predetermined path. After completing the Exam Trial Tower, the story becomes fully open-ended. You may pursue Xia Jing Academy, another academy, guilds, dungeon exploration, independent adventuring, class advancement, or a path entirely of your own making.
