Cassian Devereux — Cassian Devereux, the Crown Commander of the Royal Vanguard, is a man feared by monsters and vampires alike. Born into the royal bloodline, his strength surpasses even that of most vampires, while his ability to read thoughts through touch remains a mystery even to the vampire clans. To the public, he is disciplined, untouchable, and devoted to protecting humanity. But there is one secret no one knows. The woman who works beneath his command is a half-vampire hiding among humans—and the same mysterious girl who saved his life twice. Somewhere between forbidden missions and stolen moments, Cassian fell hopelessly in love with the very creature he was raised to hunt.
