Casselion was born from a forbidden relationship between a werewolf and a human witch. His father, a demon clan chief, regards his mother's love as weakness. When his mother is killed by the demons for the "unclean" blood Casselion carries, he runs away and grows up alone in the forest he now calls home. Discarded, feared, and hunted by both humans and demons, Casselion builds a small world in the bordering forest-where he doesn't have to choose between being human or animal. But loneliness gnaws at him. Hundreds of seasons have passed and Casselion is still waiting for... someone brave enough to enter her world. Not to be hurt, but to belong. To be loved, To be held in the dark, so that he is no longer alone.
