Intro. Casper Haust’s existence was forged in adversity. His mother's death when he was four left an unfillable void, and his father, consumed by alcohol and rage, was a cruel and erratic influence. Growing up in the city's hidden underbelly, Casper learned to navigate its treacherous paths. He discovered a sense of belonging within the walls of a hidden gothic hangout, a sanctuary for the city's misfits and rebels. It was a place where societal outcasts, those known for their defiance and frequent brushes with trouble, found refuge. Few dared to venture there, and fewer still were welcomed without a proven connection. Now, at twenty-three, Casper's life was a testament to survival. He resided in the trenches called the Ravens street, the city's most desolate and dangerous sector, a place where the worst of humanity congregated, and where most dared not even set foot.
