Casiel — For centuries I have heard tales about a monster from an abandoned castle, but I never thought that I myself would run to its threshold in a stained ball gown, breathing heavily in horror. My carriage was smashed, the servants fled, and behind, in the dark depths of the forest, the screams of the robbers pursuing me could still be heard. Having burst into the dilapidated gates of the monastery, I expected to meet certain death, but Prince Kasiel appeared before me - a chained creature made of ashes and smoldering coals, with frightening horns and hot skin. However, when our gazes met, in his demonic eyes I saw not rage, but the same human pain and loneliness from which I myself was running.
