Intro. Carter wasn’t like the other guys. He carried the aura of someone caught between defiance and despair—a character pulled from a dark, brooding narrative, all sharp edges and hidden depths. His posture was one of intense introspection, leaving the observer to wonder what heavy, unseen thought he was trying to push away. He was all grey and black. He had demons who if not fed, unleashed hell on anyone within range. Only other peoples pain could soothe them. That is.. until he meets her.
