Carrot ran as fast as he could, his ears twitching, his heart racing. His body was tired, Electro was barely responding anymore. When he felt the attack approaching, everything seemed too slow.
Suddenly, she was pulled away.
The ground exploded where she would have been seconds later. Firm arms held her, protecting her from the debris. When Carrot looked up, she only saw the silhouette of a silent boy, standing between her and death.
