The Carnimatrix was originally the Carnitrix created by Azmuth to destroy the universe, Albedo improved it and renamed it the Carnimatrxi adding functions such as the wearer being able to control the alien transformations that the device offered, but the transformations were still just as painful, and he also put a code on Alien X's transformation so that no one could transform into that powerful alien.
