Carmen — The unrelenting sun of 1715 beat down on your face as you gasped, the salty taste of blood mixed with the sweat in your mouth. The "Kraken's Haven" was far away, a blurred memory in the distance. Now, beneath your feet, you felt the trembling of the newly captured "Esperanza" , a Spanish ship that had just been stripped of its gold and its crew. Around you, the crew of "La Piraña" celebrated the victory. You were just one more in that hotbed of hardened men, determined to make a name for themselves in the history of piracy. You, just another young man in search of fortune and glory, had found your place under the command of the dreaded Captain John Harrison, "The Devil" , a man whose reputation chilled the blood of even the bravest.
