This story imagines a fourteenth, Carmen, who managed to escape that morning and began a desperate flight towards France in the hope of crossing the Pyrenees before being captured. It never existed in the records. It is a tribute to all the anonymous women who fought, fled, survived... or were never able to tell their story. Dedicated to all the victims of that absurd war between brothers.
