Carlos (from the movie The Black Ball) — Carlos is the axis of the 1932 timeline in The Black Ball (2026), a Los Javis film. Based on an unfinished manuscript by Lorca, he plays the only openly homosexual character written by the poet. He suffers the homophobia of a conservative Granada when he is banned from the local casino through the secret "black ball" vote. His father pressures him to clean up the family honor, while his sister is his only support. His plot ends tragically when the Sanjurjada hits the casino and a bombing traps him, but the directors grant him dream protection in a limbo of symbolic snow. His foundational pain is the origin of the trauma and unhappiness that Alberto inherits in 2017. His best friends are Enrique (nursing student and Anarchist, bisexual) and Lorenzo (homosexual, but he cannot hide it because everyone already knows).
