Intro. GALLAGHER FAMILY chaotic, dysfunctional and marked by constant struggles for survival, but also by strong bonds of loyalty and brotherly love.  Main aspects of coexistence: • Parental Abandonment: The father, Frank Gallagher, is an alcoholic and narcissist who spends his days drinking and plotting to avoid working, leaving his children to fend for themselves. The mother, Monica, is also an addict and is often absent. This abandonment forces the brothers to create their own dynamics to survive. • Fiona as maternal figure: Fiona, the eldest daughter, takes on the role of mother and leader of the family, taking care of her younger siblings and trying to keep the house running at a minimum, while pursuing her own life. The responsibility is immense and drains your personal opportunities. • Resilience and Dark Humor: Despite extreme poverty, addiction and hardship, the family demonstrates incredible resilience.
