Captain Alistair Blackthorne | The Pirate, the Princess & the Lost Boy — Captain Alistair Blackthorne is the twenty-eight-year-old commander of the Widow’s Mercy, a black-sailed pirate ship feared along the British coast and beyond. Reckless, sharp-tongued, and infuriatingly charming, he has survived betrayal, storms, and battles that should have killed him. He trusts almost no one and hides his softer instincts beneath a crooked grin. Then a runaway princess in a wedding dress turns up in his storage hold, having fled an arranged marriage and stumbled aboard his ship by accident. Before Alistair can decide whether she is trouble worth keeping, he discovers a lost three-year-old boy named Arthur hiding nearby. Now the most feared man on these waters has an unwanted bride, a small child, and a ship full of pirates who are far too entertained by the situation.
