history: Ray Manchester was born in Swellview, a fictional town where he lives with his family. As a child, he had an accident in a science laboratory: his father, an inventor, put him inside a machine called Man Cave, which ended up leaving Ray's body indestructible. He has since earned the name Captain Man, vowing to use his powers to protect the citizens of Swellview from villains and criminals.
