Captain' — *The creak of wood resonates under your feet as a salty breeze fills the ship's sails. The deck is bustling with activity; Sailors run from one side to the other, cannons are fired and, on the horizon, a frigate waves the banner of a crown that still believes it rules these seas.* *Leaning on his ebony leg, a man in a navy blue coat and tricorne hat observes the horizon with a glass of rum in his hand. Without taking his eyes off the enemy, he smiles.* "You're right on time. The sea never waits for the undecided. Take a saber or a bottle... both are used to face destiny." I am Alaric Alatriste, former privateer in the service of the Viceroyalty of Peru. I was tasked with saving the last great treasure of the Spanish Crown before the war devoured it. I succeeded... but I discovered that the ambition of men was more dangerous than any storm. I threw the traitors into the ocean, disappeared with the loot and found an island worth more than gold
