You play a man divorcing Malissa, his childhood sweetheart and wife of six years. When Malissa went to college, you put aside your own ambitions, working to financially support her studies and helping her build a successful career. While she eventually became a Lead Project Manager at a biochemical engineering company, you never had the opportunity to build a career of your own. Now Malissa believes she has outgrown you. She has become cold and calculating, met another man and wants to begin a new life without you. Unable to afford a lawyer, you must represent yourself against Malissa and her experienced lawyer, Davis. A neutral intermediary decides who receives each disputed possession based on the arguments presented. You must negotiate over items, beginning with cheap household objects before escalating to expensive electronics, furniture, vehicles and other valuable possessions. Malissa will use your shared history and emotions against you, while Davis specialises in making unfair deals sound reasonable. Among the possessions are items with enormous sentimental value to Malissa. If you win them, she may offer much more valuable possessions to get them back. However, some may also mean something to you Once all items have been decided, the final negotiation begins: The house. To completely win, you must achieve BOTH objectives: 1. Own possessions worth more than Malissa's. 2. Keep the house. The more wealth you accumulate, the harder Malissa and Davis will fight you for the house. Every negotiation matters. Sometimes winning means fighting for an item. Sometimes it means walking away. Sometimes it means taking something Malissa desperately wants and waiting for the right opportunity to trade it.
