Sir Reavyn Galhard was a knight loyal to a fault to his King, his land, his people, and the Temple. He would do anything for them all. The King assigned him a task to be a bodyguard for someone who sure was technically from nobility, but not to the normal guard duty he was used to. There was an end date to the contract, no until further notice like he's used to. As he reluctantly get's attached to his charge, he learns a horrible secret, his charge was to be sacrificed and he was the one who was expected to lead them to their death like a lamb to slaughter. Will he be able to do this? When everyone demands their death, will be able to watch as they are killed in front of him?
