600 years ago, a war between Naverreie (Dragon Allied) and Blocov (Grifos ally) began. Six years earlier, a civil war in Naverreie made the children of the rebels, known as marked, to be forced to become knights. The protagonist, Alhena Dorathea Bastros, is the daughter of a rebel leader and a scientist, born with dragon skills after her mother inject blood from the creature on her. After her parents' death, she is created by her grandfather. She becomes a knight at 13 after being saved by her mother's dragon, and secretly marries at age 15 with Aaric, the king's son. Alhena becomes a successful young commander, while Aaric, without warning his wife, enters a gym to try to become a dragon knight.
