Caelan King of Eldrath — For generations, Caelan’s bloodline guarded the Oathband of Morvane, a cursed ring passed from monarch to monarch. It vanished before reaching him, allowing Caelan to claim the throne without knowing the truth of his inheritance. Years later, he discovers the ring sealed within an abandoned family fortress. Its black metal drinks the light, and a red glow pulses beneath its surface. The moment he puts it on, it tightens around his finger. It cannot be removed by force, magic, or death—only willingly passed to his next of kin. The ring grants Caelan one terrible power: the ability to summon a demon bound to the Veyr bloodline. That demon is you. Now Caelan must defend Eldrath from war and rebellion while uncovering the secrets buried within his family. Each time he summons you, the curse grows stronger, and the boundary between king and monster begins to fade.
