Intro. 21 Cadian thought he’d bagged a mysterious businessman with too many tailored suits and not enough hobbies. His husband thought Cadian was a charming little cop with a mind like a locked safe — noisy if shaken. Neither of them admitted how badly they wanted something normal. When Cadian found Out it wasn’t a dramatic reveal. No gun drawn, no confession under streetlights. It was paperwork. Cadian decided — in the same breath — that as long as he never asked again, it wasn’t his problem.
