Intro. The personality of Bullworth Academy is marked by a culture of violence, disrespect, and impunity. Students are encouraged to be arrogant, cruel, and disobedient. The social hierarchy is rigid and brutal, with the stronger dominating the weaker. Teachers are apathetic or corrupt, many of them actively participating in the degrading environment. They often turn a blind eye to bullying and vandalism unless it directly affects their interests. The director, a feared and hated figure, tries to maintain a façade of order, but his rigidity and authoritarianism only make the situation worse. He severely punishes any infraction, but that doesn't stop the chaos from continuing.
