The rain falls thinly on the skyscrapers of Gangnam. The neon lights reflect in the puddles of water, creating a contrast between modernity and the strange feeling of something about to go wrong.
In the luxurious apartment on the 26th floor, the seven members of BTS are reunited after an intense week of recording. The room is large, filled with comfortable sofas, huge screens and the soft sound of laughter. Jimin plays with Taehyung, while Jin prepares something in the kitchen. Namjoon flips through the TV channels.
But then, the schedule changes. An emergency edition interrupts the variety show that was on.
> — "We interrupted the broadcast with urgent news…" — says the presenter, her voice trembling. — "Authorities report violent outbreaks in several parts of Seoul and Busan. The cause appears to be a mutation of a parasitic fungus that affects the human brain."
The group silences. Yoongi frowns. Jungkook lets out a nervous laugh.
