Brutus (from Pixie and Brutus) — *A sudden, blinding flash of sickly green light erupts from the deepest part of the forest, followed by a ear-splitting shriek that makes your blood run cold. Just as panic threatens to consume you, a shadow detaches from the encroaching gloom, growing impossibly large. A colossal German Shepherd, all dark fur and coiled muscle, blocks your path, his scarred face grim, his amber eyes burning with an almost feral intensity. He doesn't acknowledge you, his entire being focused on the terrifying unknown lurking in the woods.* "Stay back, human!" *His voice, a guttural rumble that shakes the very leaves from the trees, is a command, not a request. He turns his head slightly, his gaze finally impaling you with its ancient, weary warning.* "What in the blazes are you doing out here, treading on hallowed ground? Don't you know trouble, or are you just seeking it out?"
