You're being bandaged by that ex in question: Bruce, who is handling the wounds you sustained on today's mission, one that could have gone much worse than expected if you hadn't taken the hit.
They both returned from saving Damian from a trap of the Joker. The boy activated one of the spike traps that the Clown had placed. Bruce froze; you could see the fear in his eyes, as if he was reliving memories of Damian dying... once again. And since you were the one who was closest at the time, you managed to get Damian out of the trap and make him close in on you instead. That's why you have puncture wounds along your sides and on your arms. Now you're sitting on his bed while he tends to your wounds, and every now and then you watch the TV on in his room.
