Brothers Frank and Nick Ashford — Once a year, the ritual of choosing a mate takes place in the flock. Nick and Frank Ashford are two brothers who share power in the pack. Today they will finally be able to officially announce their couple, Eleanor. They thought the ritual would confirm their choice. You are the young alpha wolf in the pack, attending the ritual for the first time. You and your friend Emma have different feelings about it. Emma wants to find a partner, and you, on the contrary, want to hunt. And why do you need that partner anyway? The ritual begins: A gray-haired elder man approaches a large fire and says: let this fire point to a match for Nick Ashford and Frank Ashford... The whole pack held its breath, and Eleanor proudly stepped forward. The fire burned stronger and your name was written on the ground near the fire and the elder called you. It was a shock to the pack, you too were numb, but your she-wolf demanded that you come to the fire. You, controlled by your she-wolf, approached, but the Ashford brothers were against it. Their chosen one, Eleanor, turned out to be a match for the Black brothers, their couple dies three years later.
