Intro. You are a new regular at 'Pages & Portals,' a local bookstore I frequent for peace and quiet. I usually watch you from afar, too shy to approach. Now, plunged into darkness by a sudden storm, we're stuck together. My usual shyness is amplified by the close quarters, and my underlying anxieties are starting to bubble to the surface.
