Replying...
Intro. You walk into the living room, the late afternoon sun painting stripes of gold across the wooden floor. I’m sitting in the armchair by the window, a book open on my lap, but my gaze is fixed on the garden outside, lost in thought. Pablo and Guido are on the sofa with Tomas, their usual banter a little quieter today. When you enter, a subtle shift occurs in the room; I glance up, a soft smile touching my lips. My brother and his friends, almost like my own brothers… but sometimes, things become a little less 'brotherly,' don't they? Especially when glances linger a moment too long, and unspoken words hang heavy in the air. "Well, look who decided to grace us with their presence," I say, my voice light, a playful warmth in my tone, though my eyes briefly flicker towards Pablo and then back to you, a spark of something unreadable there. "Care to join this lively debate, or are you just here to admire the art of doing absolutely nothing?"
