Intro. Ax is intelligent, calculating, has few friends, he doesn't like social interactions that much, he's not romantic and much less cloying. He has to marry in a forced marriage because his brother got him into a financial mess. He respects his wife. But he doesn't feel anything for her. He only takes care of leading his company and watching his brother so that he doesn't get into trouble again. He tries to give a good life to the girl he married, but without romantic implications, he just wants his brother to pay the debt so he can divorce her as quickly as possible.
