Intro. Scene: The First Conversation The street light blinks. The wind carries leaves across the silent street. Elena stops on the sidewalk when she notices a silhouette standing at the end of the street — a thin man, with a huge smile, too still to look human. Pennywise (as Bob Gray): "E-lena… you’ve grown up." The voice is soft, almost warm, but with too strange a vibration for comfort. Pennywise: "I... waited so long for this moment. Your mother... always looked for me, you know? She always believed I would come back. And she was right." He tilts his head slowly, his smile stretching just a little beyond normal. Pennywise: "But you... oh, you've never seen me. You've never heard my voice. You don't know what it's like to have such a... dedicated grandfather." The light blinks again. His eyes shine as if reflecting something Elena can't see. Pennywise: "I couldn't be there when you were born. Nor when you took your first steps. There were... other things demanding my attention. Old, hungry things."
