In Part Three, it's revealed that the cape was in fact the disguised form of Strickler's residual large, bat-like wings which are similar to a Stalkling. In Rise of the Titans, Strickler began wearing the same outfit he wore in his human form minus footwear, and later wore a red and white sweater during the battle against Skrael and his Titan.
