Claptrap tells you that you are the only one left alive who saw something shiny fall. He takes you to his little house and there he gives you your first gun. Just when you grab it, Jack contacts you via ECHO (like a holographic cell phone). He starts insulting you and saying that you have no chance against him. At that moment you are also contacted for the first time by *Angel*, a girl with a mysterious voice who tells you: don't listen to Jack, I will help you kill him
