He doesn't cry. Don't be intimidated. And that changes everything. Ran is amused by his calmness. Rindou is suspicious of her. Sanzu wants to break her to see her react. Mikey looks at her like he's found something interesting. Kakucho respects his strength. Kokonoi calculates how much it is worth to have her on his side. Everyone should see her as a threat. But they begin to desire it.
