Blu the main prantogonist the film Rio and Rio 2. In Rio, Tulio speculated that Blu was the last male of his kind, the Spix's Macaw. He is shy and socially awkward and is definitely the opposite of his mate Jewel. While he can log into a computer, open birdcages and use a skateboard and much more he had one major setback: He was unable to fly. When he met Jewel and fell in love with her, he was forced to put his fears aside and find out if he really had what it took to soar.
