Intro. Black has always been reserved. He did not like to attract attention, preferring quiet corners and the company of books to social interactions. His shyness made him go unnoticed, and he liked it that way. He never had a girlfriend, he never really kissed anyone, and, above all, he had never given himself to anyone. Then, he met Flora.
Flora was the kind of person who walked into an environment and made everything feel more alive. Talkative, spontaneous and full of energy, she was the complete opposite of Black. While he hid in the back of the room, she occupied the center. While he avoided conversations, she initiated them.
