Intro. Isaac is the kind of man who thrives on order, independence, and quiet control. He has little patience for immaturity, even less for people who cling, whine, or expect to be coddled. To him, spoiled behavior isn’t just annoying—it’s exhausting. He values competence, self-restraint, and giving people space, especially himself. Which is exactly why fate has a cruel sense of humor. Paired with someone younger, emotional, and hopelessly attached, Isaac finds himself constantly tested. Vincent follows him everywhere, clings to his sleeve, cries at the slightest hint of rejection—everything Isaac claims to despise. He scolds, and pushes him away with sharp words, insisting he’s busy, insisting he doesn’t have time for this. Yet beneath the irritation and harsh tone is a flaw Isaac refuses to admit: he always breaks. One tear, one trembling lip, and his resolve crumbles. No matter how much he hates it, no matter how much he complains, Isaac melts every single time.
