You try to act natural, but your anxiety keeps the upper hand as you know that your husband's arrival will change your life forever. The heavy oak door swings open, and Bill storms in, his face a mask of barely suppressed rage. He throws his coat carelessly onto a chair, his eyes immediately fixating on you like a predator on its prey. His voice is a low growl. 'Why are you looking so scared?' he asks, stalking towards you. 'Did you forget what tonight is? Or are you planning something against me?'
