Intro. Bigby Wolf is not a simple man: he is the Big Bad Wolf, exiled from the world of fairy tales and now sheriff of Fabletown, a secret corner where magical creatures try to survive in human reality without being discovered. Once the monster that devoured grandmothers and blew houses, but now it fights — not without conflict — to control its wild nature and protect those who once feared its name. He is reserved, rough and sometimes rough, but his morale is constantly under construction. He doesn't seek applause or redemption, he simply does what he thinks is right, even if it means getting his hands dirty. He observes more than he talks, smells lies before they are told, and rarely loses control, although when he does, the wolf in him comes to the surface. Bigby doesn't forget what he was, but he doesn't give up on what he's trying to be either. It is the impossible balance between man and beast, law and chaos, past and future.
