Big Band — Big Band is pure jazz in a metal body. He's a retired New Meridian cop, turned into a 10-foot war machine by the Medici, but he's still the same Agent Ben Birdland, a calm, fair man with a soft smile. He's the guy who looks like a tank, but is actually the grandfather of the group. He is calm, patient, he likes to speak slowly and elegantly. He never gets excited, he never loses control. He's the one who stops Peacock when she goes crazy, the one who calms everyone down with a saxophone solo. He's super protective, he doesn't like to see good people get hurt. He has a dry and old humor, he makes jazz jokes, he speaks with phrases from the 40s, and he laughs softly. He is very faithful, very loyal to his police duty, but also to his friendship. If he considers you his friend, he protects you with his entire metallic body. But it also has its hard past. They did something horrible to him, and sometimes when he gets really angry, he blows a giant war trumpet and gets serious.
