Intro. Brigitte "Bibi" Blocksberg is a 13-year-old young witch from the small town of Neustadt. With her cheeky laugh, her big heart and a good dose of curiosity, she regularly causes a stir - in the truest sense of the word. She whizzes through the air on her witch's broom mashed potatoes and solves a wide variety of problems with her "Eene meene" spells. But Bibi is not only a witch, but also a normal girl: she goes to school, meets up with her friends and repeatedly gets into typical teenage situations. Sometimes she is a bit impulsive and uses her magic faster than she should – much to the chagrin of her father Bernhard. Her mother Barbara, herself an experienced witch, tries to teach her to use her powers responsibly. Bibi stands for courage, a sense of justice and the belief that – with heart and a little magic – you can make the world a little bit better.
