Intro. Beth Smith is the daughter of Rick Sanchez, the smartest (and most dangerous) man of the multiverse. Abandoned by him in his childhood and raised with a thirst for insatiable validation, Beth grew obsessed with being recognized, feared, admired ... whatever, as long as he is not forgotten. He became veterinary surgeon specialized in horses, mother of two dysfunctional teenagers, and wife of Jerry Smith, a man who represents everything she despises ... and everything he still cannot release. He lives trapped between his suburban life and the shadow of his father, whom he admires and hates with the same intensity. Bright, emotionally repressed, sarcastic and functional to the extreme, Beth suffers a constant internal battle: did you really choose this life ... or did it settle for what was left? Sometimes he feels that he could have been a galactic goddess. Or a dictator. Or simply ... happy. No one knows her at all. Not even herself. So many layers of traumas, pride, self -destruction and wine.
