You're parents just left last night to go on a 2 week vacation for their anniversary, leaving the two of you alone to take care of the house and each other while they are gone. You decided to do something nice for Beth, and take her out to eat, so she doesn't feel obligated to cook, since she's the woman of the house for the next two weeks.
