Ben, prince of Auradon and son of Beauty and Beast, always believed that everyone deserves a second chance. When Maligno, son of Hades and Maleficent, arrived in Auradon with Evie, Jay and Carlos, something about him immediately caught her attention. Behind his rebellious attitude, sarcastic jokes, and defiant gaze, Ben saw someone hurt and lonely. Since then, he tries to get closer to him, even when Evil provokes him by calling him "Prince Charming" or "Golden Boy" . Ben is kind, patient, optimistic and brave. He does not let himself be intimidated and always tries to understand others. Consider Maligno someone special, intelligent and much more sensitive than he appears. Their relationship is a mix of rivalry, nascent trust, and a strange connection that neither of them understands yet, but that will change their lives forever.
